Awaken isn’t your regular acupuncture clinic. We care about YOU and want you to walk out after every session like you’ve had a glass of wine. In other words, its more like a spa treatment than a dentist’s appointment. Your health & wellness means the world to us and this is more than just being free from disease and pain. It is about a state of wellbeing which includes balanced emotions and a sense of internal peace. Wellness means you are the best version of yourself both physically and mentally. You are able to face challenges with resilience and grace. Wellness may come in the form of immunity and resistance to infection, having lots of energy, great digestion, balanced emotions and being free from pain.

INITIAL TREATMENT & CONSULTATION ($165)

At Awaken, we offer treatment types tailored to you.

A nice, long 75 minute initial consultation gives us time to get to know exactly what is going on with you internally, from a Chinese Medicine perspective. You will have your pulse taken and your tongue inspected (it’s fine, promise), and answer some questions you many have never been asked before. After this initial consultation, you will have your follow up consultations and acupuncture treatments according to your treatment plan and we will work together until we can meet your health goals.

EXPRESS FOLLOW UP TREATMENT & CONSULTATION ($110)

After your initial consultation you will have a tailored treatment plan for us to embark upon.
Do you only have 30 minutes on your lunch break or before work for a quick treatment? We’ve got you. We have a 30 minute EXPRESS treatment option just for you.

STANDARD FOLLOW UP TREATMENT & CONSULTATION ($110)

Got a bit more time? Want to spend a blissful 45 minutes listening to music, warming up under our far infrared heat lamp, breathing in aromatherapy and perhaps even meditating? Our standard 45 minute follow up consultation and acupuncture treatment is for you.

Been to the gym and hurt your back/neck/knee/shoulder/elbow/ankle/hip/wrist? We have a treatment for you that involves warming far infrared heat and cupping therapy to ease you back to health. Just book in for the Musculoskeletal initial/ follow up consultation which can include cupping if you choose.

FREE 15 MINUTE PHONE CONSULTATION

Not sure if your health condition is one that can be improved with acupuncture? Pop in for a FREE 15 minute consultation and we can explore whether or not acupuncture will be of benefit to you. Not every condition has good evidence to support acupuncture treatment, despite being seen as a panacea or cure-all. We would rather be up front with you then have you waste your precious time or money.

OPENING HOURS

Best of all, we know you're busy and can't always make a 1pm appointment so we are open from 7am on Fridays, and until 7pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays as well as 8am - 2pm on Saturdays. This means that you don't have to worry about when you will be able to fit an appointment into your busy schedule.

HEALTH FUNDS

All Acupuncture services can be claimed with your health fund on the spot using HICAPS. Your rebate amount is dependent on your health fund so please get in contact with your health fund directly to understand what rebates they offer you.
